The billionaire owner of the Cafe Coffee Day chain went missing on 29th July 2019, on Monday night walking across a bridge in the southern state of Karnataka. His overall wealth approximately (19 Thousand Crores).

The US chain Starbucks has 150 stores in India.  He owns 12,000 acres (4047 ha) of coffee plantations, his Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company is India’s largest exporter of green coffee.  His family has been in the coffee industry for more than 30 years.

In 2017, His business came under pressure after the tax authorities raided his company offices.Recently, Siddhartha was in talks with Coca-Cola about selling a large stake in the business. VG Siddhartha Missing, Disappearance Siddhartha left Bengaluru on the evening of 29 July 2019, after telling his family he was going to the hill resort of Sakleshpur. The driver stopped on a bridge near Mangalaru and Siddhartha got out while on his mobile phone. His chauffeur alerted police when Siddhartha did not return. One of the fishermen claimed he has seen someone jumping off the bridge and when he tried reaching him he had already gone too deep in water.
